Diagnosis
Vertex smooth and shiny; antennal scrobes V-shaped, with sutures curved; midlobe of mesoscutum and scutellum metallic dark purple, contrasting against bright golden-green sidelobes of mesoscutum and axillae; axillae and scutellum predominantly smooth and shiny; notauli as narrow and complete grooves; dorsellum large, 2.2X as wide as long; fore and hind coxae dark brown with metallic tinges, mid coxa yellowish-brown; female gaster elongate, MM/LG = 0.6, with first gastral tergite smooth and shiny. Similar to arcuatus, but differs in having frontal suture more curved (both sexes), frons with area between eyes and scrobes with weak reticulation (both sexes), gaster longer (female), and usually also in having the contrast in colour between mid- and sidelobes of mesoscutum more distinct.
